Oracle Grows Faster Than SAP

Oracle Applications Are Gaining Momentum Any Way You Measure It

Companies that bet their success on winning applications know Oracle is growing faster than SAP. Financial results filed last quarter with the SEC show that Oracle applications license growth increased by 82 percent. Application growth excluding acquisitions saw a 31 percent increase. But SAP license growth, including middleware, increased by only 14 percent.

Oracle reports pure applications revenue excluding middleware and database revenue, whereas SAP reported figures that included third-party products and Netweaver middleware.
